Pablo Ferrández

Biography

With a strong Russian streak in his playing, cellist Pablo Ferrández has performed with top orchestras around his native Spain and beyond. He was signed to the Sony Classical label and released his first album there in 2021. Ferrández is also a chamber music player and has attracted world-class collaborators. In 2022, he joined violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter and the Czech Philharmonic for a recording of Brahms' Double Concerto for violin and cello, Op. 102. He returned in 2025 with the recital Moonlight Variations.
