Biography

Gaspard Dehaene is a pianist whose playing is marked by intellectual curiosity and a broad musical appetite that takes in the Romantic piano repertoire, French song, the German Lied, and newly composed works. He was the premiering pianist of Pierre Boulez's Une page d'éphéméride in 2007, and he won the Pro Musicis Award in 2015. Dehaene has built a career that balances solo recitals, chamber music, vocal accompaniment, and a growing discography. Dehaene is the son of legendary pianist Anne Queffélec. In 2025, he made his debut at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées in Paris, a landmark moment where he shared the stage with his mother.
