i Disinvolti

The Italian ensemble I Disinvolti, featuring three male singers, focuses on unknown, unedited Italian music of the 17th century. Research into unpublished repertory is a fundamental part of the activities of the group, which has released several albums. I Disinvolti ("The Casual Ones") was formed in 2018. The group's members are conductor and tenor Massimo Lombardi, tenor and guitarist Massimo Altieri, and bass Guglielmo Buonsanti. The group also includes three continuo players: Baroque guitarist Noelia Reverte Reche, lutenist Marco Saccardin, and keyboardist Nicola Lamon. Two of the group's regular programs, one devoted to music by the little-known composer Giovanni Antonio Rigatti and one to the Song of Songs, have been turned into albums; Vulnerasti cor meum: Motets from the Song of Songs appeared in 2024.
