Gianluca Capuano is an Italian conductor known for historically informed performances of Baroque and Classical opera. He works principally with Il canto di Orfeo, which he founded, and Les Musiciens du Prince as their chief conductor since 2019. His earliest recording was devoted to Giacomo Carissimi, released in 2003 for the magazine Amadeus. With Il canto di Orfeo and mezzo-soprano Catherine King, he recorded an album of Baldassare Galuppi opera seria arias (2006) that was named a Gramophone Editor's Choice. He also took part in Concerto Köln's recording of Leonardo Vinci's Artaserse (2012). With Les Musiciens du Prince, his recordings include La donna del lago (2017) and Farinelli (2019), and a 2026 album of Vivaldi orchestral works.
