Jeremy West

Over a career lasting almost 50 years, with some 100 recordings to his credit, Jeremy West is a pioneer in the revival of the cornett. He was a founding member of the durable group His Majestys Sagbutts and Cornetts, is a member of the Gabrieli Consort and Players, and has toured some 30 countries. West is also a prominent educator. He performs as leader of the Western Wyndes ensemble as well, most recently on the recordings of Marc'Antonio Ingegneri's choral music by the Girton College Choir, Cambridge; the fifth volume of these appeared on the Toccata Classics label in 2025.
