Eric Ferring

Biography

Tenor Eric Ferring broke through to the top levels of opera in 2021 when he made his debut at New York's Metropolitan Opera. Ferring spent the 2017-2018 season as a resident artist at the Pittsburgh Opera, appearing in productions of Mozart's Le nozze di Figaro and Puccini's Tosca, among others. Ferring made his Metropolitan Opera debut in Puccini's Turandot. Ferring's debut album, No Choice but Love: Songs of the LGBTQ+ Community, featured songs by Poulenc, Jake Heggie, Ben Moore, and other composers, with Madeline Slettedahl as accompanist.
