Walter Testolin

Walter Testolin is an Italian bass and conductor whose career has been shaped by a deep commitment to the study and performance of Renaissance and Baroque vocal music. He helped establish RossoPorpora, an early music ensemble specializing in that repertoire. In 2025, Testolin directed it in a comprehensive recording of Claudio Monteverdi's Sixth Book of Madrigals.
