Mónica Waisman

Biography

Mónica Waisman is a baroque violinist who has performed as a chamber musician, orchestral leader, and soloist with renowned period-instrument ensembles across Europe, North and South America, and Asia. In 2003, alongside violinist Florian Deuter, Waisman co-founded Harmonie Universelle, an ensemble based in Cologne that brings together an international membership of musicians. She serves as co-director and co-leader of the ensemble. Her recordings include Pocket Mozart (2022) and Heinrich Ignaz Franz von Biber: Harmonia artificioso-ariosa (2026).
