Kateryna Kasper

Kateryna Kasper is a versatile Ukrainian-German soprano who has interpreted leading roles in opera, oratorio, and lieder that range from the early baroque to contemporary periods. From 2014 to 2024, she was an ensemble member of Oper Frankfurt. Kasper has developed a specialty in Handel's dramatic music. She has performed as soprano soloist in Mahler's Second and Fourth Symphonies and recorded two albums of lieder, O wüßt ich doch den Weg zurück… (2019) and Ein süßes Deingedenken (2022). Other recordings include song cycles by Shostakovich and Weinberg (2022) and Weber's Der Freischütz (2022), which won the Opus Klassik for Opera in 2023. In 2026, she recorded Haydn's Die Sieben letzte Worte with Konzerthausorchester Berlin.
