Biography
La Compagnia del Madrigale is an Italian early music vocal ensemble. The group was established by three core founders, soprano Rossana Bertini, tenor Giuseppe Maletto, and the late bass Daniele Carnovich. Alongside other core members, the ensemble has earned international acclaim for recording complete books of Renaissance Italian madrigals. In 2026, the ensemble released Giaches de Wert's masterpiece of pathos and artifice, the Nono libro de madrigali, on the Glossa label.
