Bartosz Glowacki

Accordionist Bartosz Glowacki (his Polish name includes a diacritical marking, but he does not use it in anglophone contexts) aims to develop new repertory for the accordion and to broaden awareness of the instrument in classical music. He has performed a variety of contemporary music that has demanded flexibility from the performer due to varying treatments of the solo instrument. Glowacki has released several albums, including the solo recital Genesis. In 2024, he was heard on the London Philharmonic Orchestra album Brett Dean: In spe contra spem; Viola & Cello Concertos, Orchestral Works.
