Debbie Wiseman

A prolific and versatile composer of film and television music, Debbie Wiseman is also known in her native Britain as an on-air personality, orchestra conductor, and educator. After beginning her scoring career in television in the 1980s, she went on to write dramatic orchestral and intimate chamber music for a variety of film genres, ranging from the 1994 biopic Tom & Viv to the satirical 2009 movie Vampire Killers and 2017 adventure drama Edie. Some of Wiseman's best-known projects in television include her years of work on series, including Father Brown, Wolf Hall, and Shakespeare & Hathaway: Private Detectives. In 2024, she released Ten, an album of solo piano music based on select themes from her output.
