Collaborative pianist Paula Fan was a fixture of musical life in the Tucson, Arizona, area, teaching piano for many years at the University of Arizona. She was the longtime principal pianist with the Tucson Symphony Orchestra. Among her performance partners was baritone Jeremy Huw Williams, with whom she appeared and recorded frequently in her later years. Fan was heard with Williams on the album Prayer: The Songs of Morten Lauridsen, which was released the year after her death in 2023.
