Biography

The multi-talented Black musician Allison Loggins-Hull excels as a composer, on flute, and as a producer and electronic musician. She has held several prestigious residencies with American performing ensembles. In 2008, Loggins-Hull and flutist Nathalie Joachim co-founded the duo Flutronix, whose music includes aspects of classical, jazz, urban R&B and hip-hop, and electronic genres. With Flutronix, she made her recording debut in 2010 on the duo's self-titled first album. Loggins-Hull has appeared as a flutist on various recordings, including the soundtrack to The Lion King. Her works have been featured on several albums, including the 2024 release Persist by the string quartet ETHEL.
