Jorge González Buajasán

Biography

Pianist Jorge González Buajasán was trained partly in France and has appeared around Western Europe as well as in his native Cuba. He has released several albums as a soloist and with the Trio Zeliha. Beginning in the mid-2010s, González Buajasán began giving recitals in major European concert halls. In 2018, González Buajasán formed the Trio Zeliha together with violinist Manon Galy and cellist Maxime Quennesson, and he made his recording debut with that group in 2020. In 2022, he backed oboist Gabriel Pidoux on the album Romance, and he returned the following year with Galy on the recital Nuits Parisiennes.
