Philip Edward Fisher
Biography
Pianist Philip Edward Fisher has a varied repertory and has performed internationally, both as a soloist and as a chamber musician. At 12, Fisher performed the Shostakovich Piano Concerto No. 2 in F major, Op. 102, at Symphony Hall in Birmingham. Fisher made his debut recording in 2010, performing Handel's keyboard suites on the piano. In 2006, with the New York Miniaturist Ensemble, he gave the world premiers of Karlheinz Stockhausen's First Natural Durations for solo piano. In 2023, Fisher returned with the album John Corigliano: Complete Solo Piano Music.
