Madeline Slettedahl
Biography
Madeline Slettedahl has served as a staff pianist and accompanist with several major American opera companies. Slettedahl joined the Lyric Opera of Chicago in May of 2017 as pianist and ensemble coach at the Lyric Opera's Ryan Center. Slettedahl remained at the Lyric Opera until 2020. For the 2021-2022 season, she moved to the Houston Grand Opera as pianist and assistant conductor. In 2022, she released her debut album, backing tenor Eric Ferring on the album No Choice but Love: Songs of the LGBTQ+ Community. She has also returned to the Lyric Opera of Chicago as an affiliate staff member and worked as a freelance piano teacher. In 2023, she accompanied Ferring once again on the album We have tomorrow.
