Aleš Briscein

Biography

Tenor Aleš Briscein has been ranked as one of the world's busiest operatic artists by the classical music concert-tracking site Bachtrack. His notably broad repertory includes Italian, German, French, and Russian as well as Czech works, and he has performed increasingly often in Western Europe as well as around the Czech Republic. Briscein has been heard in various recordings of Czech opera. In 2024, he was heard on the Supraphon label in a recording of Leoš Janáček's The Excursions of Mr. Brouček.
