Curtis Stewart

A voraciously talented violinist and composer, Curtis Stewart is a versatile soloist whose work touches upon jazz, classical, and new music traditions. The Artistic Director of the American Composers Orchestra and a professor at The Juilliard School, Stewart debuted with 2016's Of Colors. He has garnered four Grammy Award nominations for both of his albums with his PUBLIQuartet, 2019's Freedom & Faith and 2023's What Is American. Nominations also came his way for his 2021's Of Power and 2023's Of Love, the latter of which was his tribute to his late mother, violinist Elektra Kurtis.
