Biography
Pianist Stephen Gosling is especially active as a player of contemporary chamber music in the New York area. He also performs internationally as a concerto soloist and solo player. Gosling performed four times as a concerto soloist with Juilliard groups, and since then, he has specialized in 20th century and contemporary music. Gosling made his recording debut in 1995, joining composer and pianist Joan Tower on guitarist Sharon Isbin's album Joan Tower: Black Topaz. In 2001, he and pianist Eric Huebner released the album Music for Two Pianos. Gosling has been a member of several leading chamber ensembles in New York and beyond. In 2020, he released a recording of John Zorn's The Turner Etudes. By that time, his recording catalog comprised more than 30 items.
