Alexandra Nepomnyashchaya

Biography

Pianist Alexandra Nepomnyashchaya is recognized for her work as a pianist, harpsichordist, and fortepianist, performing both Baroque repertory and later music. Nepomnyashchaya made her recording debut in 2010, joining violinist Sergey Filchenko as a fortepianist on an album of Mozart's violin sonatas. Nepomnyashchaya has been heard on several duo-piano recordings with Duo Pleyel, whose other member is Richard Egarr; he is also her husband. Nepomnyashchaya works at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague as a rehearsal pianist and coach. In 2024, she made her first recording for the Linn Records label, featuring the Componimenti musicali per il cembalo of Gottlieb Muffat.
