Guy Klucevsek
Biography
Guy Klucevsek was a contemporary jazz accordionist who devoted his career to performing creative music of all types on the instrument. Aside from being well-versed in jazz, free improvisation, and classical music, Klucevsek also played polka -- the traditional varieties of European and Latin American origin as well as ones composed by avant-garde composer/performers such as Elliott Sharp, Fred Frith, and Christian Marclay. A versatile musician on the contemporary scene, Klucevsek performed with Laurie Anderson, Bill Frisell, and John Zorn, on television's "Mister Rogers Neighborhood," and on Broadway in PIAF.
