Robin Pharo

Primarily playing one of the more unique orchestral stringed instruments -- the viola da gamba, a seven-string, bowed, fretted instrument played upright like a cello or contrabass -- Robin Pharo has made a name for himself as a performer of lively classical and chamber pieces. In addition to featured solo performances, Pharo has founded two groups: the quartet Nevermind and the Ensemble Près de Votre Oreille.
