Tomasz Konieczny

The success of bass-baritone Tomasz Konieczny took on international dimensions in the late 2010s and 2020s. Konieczny is also an actor with credits in many Polish films. Konieczny made his operatic debut as Figaro in Mozart's Le nozze di Figaro in Poznán. In 2012, he made his recording debut in that field on the Naxos label on a recording of Krzysztof Penderecki's Cantcum Canticorum Salomonis with the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra under conductor Antoni Wit. In 2022, he was heard on a recording of Antal Doráti's Der Künder. In the same year, he recorded vocal works by Liszt on the album Liszt: Legends of the Saints, Vol. 1, with the Orchester Wiener Akademie.
