Marine Fribourg is a versatile figure, active as a mezzo-soprano singer, a choral conductor, and a viola da gamba layer. She is in demand for vocal master classes in both her native France and in the Netherlands, where she lives part-time. Fribourg appeared in a Nederlandse Opera production of Claude Vivier's opera Kopernikus in 2014. That year, she co-founded the Damask vocal quartet, with which she continues to perform. Fribourg joined Les Cris de Paris in 2015, continuing to perform with that group as of the early 2020s. In 2020, she made her recording debut, performing with Gli Angeli Genève in Bach's St. Matthew Passion, BWV 244. She returned as conductor of the Ensemble Vocal Bergamasque on several volumes of the complete Bach keyboard music edition released by Benjamin Alard; the seventh volume appeared in 2022.
