Lars-Erik Ter Jung

Lars-Erik ter Jung has been a champion of contemporary music, both as a violinist and later as a conductor. Switching to conducting in mid-career, he has been active both with major orchestras and with ensembles of his own, including the Terjungensemble. Ter Jung has been heard as both a violinist and a conductor on recordings. In 2024, he led the Terjungensemble on an album of works by composer Tyler Futrell, released by the BIS label.
