Oliver Wass

Oliver Wass is a British harpist known for the breadth of his activity across solo, orchestral, and chamber ensemble contexts. He performs on early and modern versions of the harp and serves as Professor of Harp at the Royal College of Music in London. Reflections, released in 2018 with saxophonist Huw Wiggin and pianist John Lenehan, reached number two in the U.K. Specialist Classical Chart. The Pelléas Ensemble, his award-winning flute-viola-harp trio, put out their first album, Nature and the Imagination, in 2021. In 2026, Wass and Wiggin recorded their second album, Elements. On his solo album from the same year, Wass performed works from the Renaissance through the present day on Italian triple harp and modern pedal harp, including the premiere of a Luigi Molino harp concerto.
