Biography
Violinist Lilli Maijala has a strong commitment to contemporary music and has premiered several major works. She is also an important educator who teaches at Helsinki's Sibelius Academy. Maijala is also an orchestral musician and a chamber player, serving as violist of the Valo Quartet. She has made recordings of both contemporary and mainstream works, joining the Gringolts Quartet in 2024 for an album of Brahms string quintets.
