Cecil Taylor, The World Of Cecil Taylor (Remastered) Fats Waller, The Essential Fats Waller (Remastered) Vladimir De Pachmann, Vladimir de Pachmann: The Mythic Pianist, 1907-1927 Recordings I love the ease and humor you hear in the way Vladimir de Pachmann plays the Romantic piano repertoire. And although their music is completely different to the music I play, Cecil Taylor and Fats Waller are two of the great pianists in my book. Tell us why you chose this song. “Songs without Words, Op. 67: No. 2 in F-Sharp Minor, MWV U145” I love the quixotic and fleeting character of this piece. It has a melancholic tone but also a feeling of nostalgia and expectation.
