Violinist Hellen Weiß has released several well-regarded recordings of 20th century chamber music and is an important educator. She is also a musical performance administrator, serving as artistic director of the VIVO! Musikfest in her native city. Weiß was a prodigy who was playing full-scale concertos while still in her early teens. She has been heard on several recordings, including a 2025 release featuring music of Ernst von Dohnányi and Richard Strauss.
