Tony Ann

Born in Beijing and raised in Toronto from the age of six, Tony Ann is a Canadian pianist and composer blending neoclassical piano with contemporary pop and electronic sensibilities. He first gained international attention in 2017 when his viral piano cover of The Chainsmokers’ “Paris” led the duo to invite him to join their North American tour that year as a keyboardist. After studying at the Cleveland Institute of Music and Berklee College of Music, Tony Ann built a global following through digital platforms, later signing with Decca Records France. His 2023 EP trilogy, Emotionally Blue, Emotionally Orange and Emotionally Red, showcased his emotionally driven instrumental style, while 2025 brought a Juno nomination (Canada’s premier music awards) plus a collaboration with Lang Lang on “ICARUS”.
