Biography
Baroque flutist Nicolas Bouils is noted for the depth of his research into early flutes. As a result of that research, he has an unusually large repertory of Baroque flute music. Bouils performed for several years with the major French historical performance ensemble Les Siècles. Bouils made his recording debut in 2024, appearing on the album Liebe Amalia...: Carl Philipp Emanuel & Wilhelm Friedemann Bach, which explored the influence of Princess Amalia of Prussia as patroness to two of J.S. Bach's sons.
