Miku Yasukawa

Biography

Soprano Miku Yasukawa found herself in demand even prior to receiving a diploma from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She has a varied repertory running from Mozart to Alexander Zemlinsky. Yasukawa classifies herself as a lyric coloratura soprano and has sung weightier music such as the soprano part in Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 in D minor, Op. 125, as well as lighter operatic fare. She has sung Brahms' Ein deutsches Requiem, Op. 45, with multiple ensembles, including the Bach Collegium Japan; with that group, in that work, she made her recording debut in 2025.
