Laura Catrani

Soprano Laura Catrani is a renowned, masterful interpreter of contemporary and 20th century repertoire. With comparisons made to Cathy Berberian, she stood out as a conservatory student for her exceptional rendition of Berio's Sequenza III. Catrani has premiered demanding new operas by leading Italian composers such as Azio Corghi and Alessandro Solbiati at major Italian venues. As an opera performer, she is prized for her prodigious acting skills and specializes in 18th century and contemporary works.
