In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My debut as a pianist and violinist was also one of my first public performances accompanying my mom - a classically trained opera singer. I was 9 years old, and there were over a thousand people in the audience. It was an awesome experience! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Giovanni de Chiaro, Kermit Poling, London Symphony Orchestra, Poling: Orchestral Works Gordon Lightfoot, Best of Gordon Lightfoot Various Artists, Abbey Road - A Tribute to the Beatles Like so many people, I was greatly inspired by the Beatles. This album is a nice tribute. I also have always loved the music of Gordon Lightfoot. And - I have to sort of include my own first album with the London Symphony! Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Guitar Concerto No. 1: III. Allegro” This was my debut recording with the London Symphony, Orchestra, recording my own music. The featured soloist was also my good friend John De Chiaro. it was an experience beyond belief! What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Recording my debut album with the London Symphony Orchestra. An entire album of my music! Plus conducting the LSO was an absolute treat! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I have several large orchestral works, plus another guitar concerto, that I really look forward to recording sometime in the future with either the LSO again, or, perhaps another great orchestra.
