Roger Eno

Roger Eno has produced a variety of ambient and modern classical music, among them film and television scores. He initially gained notice through collaborations with his older brother, Brian. Roger is a formally trained musician; his compositions tend to be harmonically richer. He made his solo debut with the processed piano pieces of 1985's Voices, then began expanding his range, with string arrangements on 1988's Between Tides and an exploration of traditional British music on 1996's Swimming, with his own vocals. Eno has collaborated with Peter Hammill and as Channel Light Vessel with Bill Nelson, Laraaji, Kate St. John, and others. His 2022 release The Turning Year included strings by Scoring Berlin. 2023's The Skies, They Shift Like Chords won global acclaim, while 2025's Without Wind, Without Air offered a series of instrumentals and songs vocalized by daughters Cecily and Lotti Eno, soprano Grace Davidson, and himself.
