Pianist Philippe Raskin has added the artistic direction of a competition and a festival to his abundant concert activities. He is also an important educator. Raskin's recital career has taken him to major venues, including the birthplace of Frédéric Chopin in Poland. In 2025, he made his recording debut, joining cellist Martin Rummel on an album of cello sonatas by Shostakovich and Prokofiev.
