Mélissa Petit

Mélissa Petit is an operatic soprano who, after completing her early musical training, went on to sing with the Zurich Opera ensemble and later debuted at the Salzburg Festival alongside Cecilia Bartoli. Known for performing roles such as Gilda in Rigoletto, Euridice in Orfeo ed Euridice, and Sophie in Werther, her career is further highlighted by top prizes at the Queen Sonja International Music Competition and the Concorso Musica Sacra. She can be heard on two 2026 recordings, one of Haydn masses and one of an opera by Baroque composer Joseph-François Salomon.
