John McLaughlin Williams

John McLaughlin Williams has performed as a conductor and violinist. He took up conducting only later in his career. Williams' specialty as a conductor has been neglected American music, much of which he has recorded in the Naxos label's "American Classics" series. He has also been active in Eastern Europe and Russia, and in 2025, he issued the album Concertos from the Caucasus, Vol. 1, with the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra.
