Karim Said

Karim Said is a pianist, composer, and conductor who has established himself as one of the most distinctive voices of his generation. He first came to international attention in 2009 with performances alongside the English Chamber Orchestra at London's Barbican Centre and subsequently at the BBC Proms. Since then, he has pursued an international solo career, performing on some of the world's most prestigious stages. Renowned for the intellectual depth of his programs and the expressive richness of his playing, he has released several recordings, including Echoes from an Empire (2015), widely praised as one of the finest interpretations of Janáček's music, and a 2024 program devoted to Beethoven, Mozart, Schoenberg, and Webern, reflecting his keen interest in the aesthetic connections between different musical eras.
