Andrew Grams

Andrew Grams is a violinist turned orchestral conductor who has worked with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre National de France, and Hong Kong Philharmonic, among other major ensembles. Keeping a busy concert schedule, major conducting engagements include productions of The Nutcracker in New York and Norway as well as his BBC Proms debut in 2024. His discography consists of an album of Richard Strauss pieces with Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra (2010), Erwin Schulhoff: Forbidden Music (2016), and leading the Chineke! Orchestra through Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite along with works by Ellington and Strayhorn (2023). Grams recorded Reena Esmail's Terra Infirma in 2026 on Azica.
