Stradivaria

Stradivaria, in full named Stradivaria: Ensemble Baroque de Nantes, is among France's leading ensembles specializing in Baroque music. The group has cultivated a distinctive sound that it has applied to both French Baroque works and those from beyond France. Stradivaria was founded in 1987 by violinist Daniel Cuiller. The year 2019 saw two new releases by Stradivaria: the group joined cellist Raphaël Pidoux for an album of cello concertos by Jean-Louis Duport, and later in the year, it issued La Guerre de Te Deum, featuring works involved in an 18th century composition competition. The group also released a jubilant album focused on 19th century Viennese works titled Swingin' Partita.
