Linda Hedlund

Linda Hedlund is a violinist who has established an international career spanning period-instrument performance, classical concerto repertoire, and what she has called "musical archaeology." Hedlund has performed as a soloist with ensembles ranging from La Tempesta Orchestra to the Austrian Chamber Orchestra and Les Solistes de Monte Carlo, appearing at prestigious festivals from the Helsinki Festival to Carnegie Hall. A passionate educator, she founded the Emäsalo Music Festival in 2006 and serves as its artistic director. In 2026, she was heard on the Naxos recording Finnish Works for Violin and Orchestra.
