Tianqi Du

Pianist Tianqi Du stands out from other up-and-coming artists with bold experimentation and originality in his concert performances. His concerto repertory includes works by Chopin, Schumann, and Ravel's Piano Concerto in G major. Du often performed Bach's Goldberg Variations for keyboard, BWV 988, along with a set of preludes and fugues arranged according to the motif B-A-C-H (the note H in the German system corresponds to B natural). Du released his debut album, featuring the Goldberg Variations, in 2022.
