Hyperion Trio

The durable Hyperion Trio has played and recorded a large amount of forgotten repertory from the Romantic era. The group also performs contemporary music. The Hyperion Trio members have also taught at several major German music schools and given many master classes. The group has a substantial recording catalog, much of which is on the CPO label and is devoted to neglected Romantic works. These recordings include Carl Reinecke: Complete Piano Trios (2022) and Christian Sinding: Piano Trios Opp. 23, 64 & 87; Six Pieces for Cello and Piano Op. 66 (2025).
