Andreas Schager

Andreas Schager has emerged as a major Heldentenor, or heroic tenor, specializing in the operas of Wagner. Earlier in his career, he was known as an operetta singer. Schager is a member of the permanent cast of the Staatsoper Berlin. He has made several recordings, including one in the title role of Wagner's Parsifal in a live performance at the Bayreuth Festival that was released in 2024.
