Jérôme Ducros

Biography

France's Jérôme Ducros is one of his country's leading collaborative pianists, working with both instrumentalists and singers. He is also a composer and arranger whose works have been recorded on the major-label Decca. Ducros became the source of considerable controversy after a 2012 lecture in which he stated that a general return to tonality in music was inevitable. He has often accompanied famed countertenor Philippe Jaroussky on recordings, including on Schubert: Lieder in 2024.
