Fiona McGown

Mezzo-soprano Fiona McGown has recorded Baroque and Classical-era works but has a large repertory stretching forward to the present day. She is the dedicatee of several new vocal works. McGown has appeared in major European halls as well as at many of France's top theaters. She performed in the premiere of Kaija Saariaho's opera Innocent (2018), and she often performs in a duo with pianist Célia Oneto Bensaid. McGown released the album Chamber Music on the NoMad label in 2019 and appeared on several recordings with the early music group La Tempête. In 2022, McGown was heard with the group Les Ombres on the album Bach-Abel Society.
