Een groot deel van deze liveopnames van werk van Igor Stravinsky is opgenomen in 2018, toen Vladimir Jurowski de chefdirigent was van het London Philharmonic Orchestra. De opnames demonstreren de prikkelende resultaten die hij tijdens concerten wist te bereiken. De primaire werken, De vuurvogel en Le Sacre du printemps, vermengen een fantasierijk gevoel voor poëzie met daverende virtuositeit, vooral op momenten dat alle instrumenten van het orkest weerklinken. Het album bevat ook enkele vroege, minder bekende werken van Stravinsky: Symfonie in Es, Le Faune et la Bergère, Scherzo fantastique en Chant funèbre. De werken zijn stuk voor stuk fascinerend en onderstrepen op overtuigende wijze dat de componist op weg was naar grootsheid.
