Sueye Park

Sueye Park is a violinist who has forged an unusually independent path to prominence without relying on a single competition victory until her stunning 2025 triumph at the International Jean Sibelius Violin Competition. Park has released five albums spanning demanding solo repertoire, romantic concertos, and 20th century explorations. She performs on fine Italian instruments: a Giovanni Battista Guadagnini violin from Milan (1753) loaned by the Samsung Foundation of Culture, and a second Guadagnini on loan through the Sibelius Competition prize. In 2025, she issued the album Echoes of Exile.
